Louisa Jane Robinson
Languages graduate living in the UK, hoping to study for an MA in International Relations and then become a journalist specialising in international affairs abroad. I speak French, Italian, and English, and hope to learn many more languages. I want to volunteer with IC, so I can gain more confidence in a different environment, and learn better reporting and translation skills. I love drama, art and travelling and of course volunteering with different organisations such as Shelter, Oxfam and the Blind Society.

Being a volunteer is rewarding. It's a great opportunity to help and communicate with other people. It also gives me a chance to solve practical problems and obtain some eye-opening experiences by applying what I've learned to the real world. I majored in accounting during my undergraduate study in China and previously I participated in many national and international competitions mainly focusing on business, strategies and international law. Now I am pursing master of arts in translation and interpretation in Monterey Institute of International Studies in California. So with a diversified background, I am actually interested in many areas and willing to share my skills.
